The Registered Nurse Surgical (Maternity and Plastics) is to deliver expert nursing care within fertility, plastic surgery, and women's health, while ensuring optimal health outcomes, blending efficiency, warmth, and trust for personalised, excellent healthcare.
Responsibilities:
Ensure comprehensive and safe patient care by mitigating risks and meeting set clinical quality standards
Manage the patient experience
Ensure optimal supply, retention and utilisation of staffing resources
Empower and build staff competence through continuous assessment and development
Assist with the effective management of operational expenses (including stock and capital)
Pharmacology
Nursing record keeping
Nursing processes and procedures
Relevant nursing legislation
Infection prevention and control
Audit patient records
Patient assessment skills
Develop/ modify a nursing care plan
Requirements:
Registered Nurse with a valid SANC registration
Midwife experience is essential
Post basic qualification if operating room advantageous
Min 3 years experience in a private hospital with a surgical role
Basic life support trained
Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
