Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary - Theatre

The opportunity

This position forms part of a dedicated theatre team, supporting the safe and efficient delivery of surgical procedures. It is suited to an experienced Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centred environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with theatre preparation and post-operative procedures

• Support nursing and surgical staff during operations

• Monitor and assist patients pre- and post-surgery

• Maintain infection control standards and theatre cleanliness

• Perform stock and equipment checks as required

Requirements

• Registered with SANC as an Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary

• Prior experience working in a theatre setting

• Good understanding of infection control principles

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
