As the leading medical recruitment agency in South Africa, our client has an exciting opportunity for a Nursing Services Manager based in Randburg, South Africa. The Nursing Services Manager is to administer and be responsible for the smooth, efficient running of all nursing services in the Care Centre and for the Village, and to ensure that residents are receiving holistic care in respect of their physical, psychological, and spiritual wellbeing.
Responsibilities:
Admission of residents
Record keeping
Stock, Supplies and Equipment
Organizing the smooth running of the department.
Organizing functions and activities where this is indicated.
Evaluation and assessment of the residents
Ensure effective communications with all stakeholders and employees
Staff management
General care of residents
Education and in-service training
Maintenance of Care Centre
Requirements:
Registered Nurse with valid SANC
Min 7 years experience in nursing
Min 3 years experience in management roles
Min 2 years experience in administration
Must be able to speak Afrikaans
Not expected to do any shift work but would need to be on call for emergencies. Working 45 hours per week.
Salary is market related for a retirement village
