Hospital Manager

As the leading medical recruitment agency in South Africa, our client has an exciting opportunity for a Hospital Manager to be based in Louis Trichardt, Limpopo.

The Opportunity

This senior leadership role is responsible for driving hospital strategy in alignment with group objectives while cultivating a performance-driven and patient-centred culture. The Hospital Manager will oversee all operational and administrative functions, ensuring regulatory compliance, financial sustainability, and exceptional clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute hospital strategy aligned with group strategic themes

• Build and maintain senior strategic partnerships

• Drive market share growth and achieve business target

• Present business proposals to executives and key stakeholders

• Lead stakeholder engagement and relationship management initiatives

• Negotiate effectively within complex and high-pressure environments

• Oversee financial performance, budgeting and resource optimisation

• Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to legislative requirements

• Lead and develop an empowered, high-performing management team

• Strengthen government and private sector partnerships

Requirements

• 3-year Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7)

• Postgraduate qualification (NQF Level 8) advantageous

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior managerial role within a hospital environment

• Strong financial and business acumen

• In-depth knowledge of the South African healthcare industry

• Understanding of healthcare legislation and business climate

• Excellent leadership, negotiation and communication skills
