The Opportunity
This role is ideal for an experienced Enrolled Nurse with a passion for high-acuity care. You will work in either the Neonatal or Adult ICU, providing skilled support to Registered Nurses and the broader multidisciplinary team, ensuring quality care for critically ill patients.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, patient-centred nursing care within the ICU environment
Monitor patients’ conditions and report any significant changes
Assist with procedures and manage equipment as required
Maintain accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation
Comply with infection control and health & safety protocols
Support families through effective communication and empathy
Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure best outcomes
Requirements
Enrolled Nurse qualification and active registration with SANC
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a NICU or AICU setting
Excellent clinical judgement and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Current BLS certification (preferred)
