Nursing Services Manager Frail Care

Their Care Centre is known for its warm, supportive environment and focus on holistic wellness, ensuring residents enjoy dignity, safety, and quality of life in their later years.

The Opportunity

The Nursing Services Manager will oversee the efficient and compassionate delivery of nursing care in both the Care Centre and the wider Village. This leadership role ensures that residents receive holistic care that supports their physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing, while also managing the day-to-day operations of the nursing team and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee admissions and assessments of residents

• Maintain accurate and compliant record keeping

• Manage supplies, stock, and equipment

• Ensure smooth daily operations of the nursing department

• Organise resident functions and wellness-related activities

• Monitor and evaluate residents’ care plans and wellbeing

• Facilitate effective communication with families, staff, and stakeholders

• Supervise and support nursing and care staff

• Promote quality care and a safe, homely environment

• Coordinate ongoing education and in-service training

• Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the Care Centre

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with valid SANC registration

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in nursing

• At least 3 years in a management or leadership role

• Minimum 2 years of administration experience

• Fluent in Afrikaans (spoken and written)

• Availability to be on call for emergencies (no shift work; 45-hour week)
