The Client

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive and specialised nursing care to critically ill patients

  • Monitor vital signs and respond swiftly to changes in patient conditions

  • Administer medication and assist in advanced procedures

  • Maintain accurate patient records and comply with hospital policies

  • Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and other nurses in the ICU team

  • Deliver patient and family support in high stress environments

  • Uphold infection control standards and safety protocols


Requirements

  • Registered Nurse qualification with current SANC registration

  • Post-basic ICU qualification or a minimum of 2 years ICU experience

  • Proven ability to manage high-acuity patients

  • Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills

  • Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends

  • BLS/ACLS certification (advantageous)
