As the leading medical recruitment agency in South Africa, our client has an exciting opportunity for a neurophysiology technologist to be based in Pinelands, Western Cape.
The client

The opportunity
The Neurophysiology Technologist will be responsible for performing specialised diagnostic procedures and supporting the delivery of high-quality neurophysiology services. This role requires a technically skilled and detail-oriented individual who can operate independently while contributing to a collaborative clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform and interpret EEG studies, including prolonged and overnight recordings
Conduct nerve conduction studies and other neurophysiology tests
Perform visual evoked potentials and repetitive stimulation studies
Ensure accurate recording, analysis and reporting of diagnostic results
Manage administrative duties including report writing and documentation
Assist in the management of neurophysiology services and related supplies
Maintain high standards of professionalism, patient care and confidentiality
Travel to hospitals and facilities as required to provide services
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and care
Requirements:
Qualified neurophysiology technologist registered with HPCSA
Minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience post qualification or training
Proven competence in EEG, nerve conduction studies, VEP and related procedures
Strong technical and analytical skills
Valid driver's licence and ability to travel between facilities
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High level of professionalism and confidentiality
Willingness to work standard hours and after hours when required
