Rare opportunity in Cape Town for an executive healthcare professional to provide planning and strategy for the innovation and improvement of clinical performance for a leading hospital group across South Africa. The role is based in Stellenbosch, Cape Town.
Responsibilities
Implement the clinical strategy for MCSA.
Provide input on clinical strategy implementation and planning.
Insight in Clinical data and analytics, including health information management.
Knowledge of Funding/insurance models for operating divisions
Knowledge of Clinical Coding and Funding models
In-depth knowledge of Healthcare regulations and accreditation standards, including data privacy
Knowledge of clinical risk management, including patient safety and clinical quality improvement and quality assurance
Stakeholder management
Public presentation and report writing skills
Experience in Clinical care including IPC
Budgeting and budget control skills
Requirements
MB ChB or similar medical degree; Medical specialist qualification.
Post graduate diplomas in healthcare or management. Master’s degree in any related field e.g. MBA, public health, patient safety qualification.
8 years clinical practice in direct patient care
Experience in implementing large-scale initiatives is essential.
5 years management in an acute care multidisciplinary hospital or regional manager of a number of acute care hospitals.
Middle or senior management experience in a corporate environment.
Proficiency in English
