The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding Radiology department at Nelson Hospital. Shifts are on a 24/7 rotating roster Monday - Sunday, working across both MRI and general x-ray with no one working alone at one time. The team provides a comprehensive diagnostic radiology service including: General Radiography, MRI, CT Scanning, Ultrasound, Cardiac Catheterisation and Angiography.
What will I need?
Be a qualified Medical Imaging Technologist and be registered with the New Zealand Medical Imaging Technologist Board
Hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
Commitment to the ideals of research, evaluation methods, and evidence-based best practice and procedures
Sound knowledge of I.T systems and applications
Highly adaptable, flexible, and open to change, even in intense situations
CT trained (desirable but not necessary)
